Hello everyone and welcome to Jumping into Comics! We are your humble hosts: Goki (that's me), Hook (themadhooker) and Goblin (XGoblinX). Sure they're not our real names, but hey, we're cowards and fear that if we expose our identities, you will all stalk us and kill us in violent, dreadful ways.

Anyway, as you've probably guessed, we're here to talk about comic books. We'll recommend comics we enjoy (I myself plan on focusing on recommending the collected editions and graphic novels), talk about what's going on in comics today, and every now and then, we'll talk about something random. Like how this blog was this close to being called, "Why Goblin Should Burn Down Lexington: A Comics-Related Blog."

Now before you non-comic readers run away, hear me out: we're going to try to make things fun and accessible for everyone, including those who aren't entirely sure of what we're talking about. We'll even put up definitions of popular comic terms like "pre-Crisis," "post-Crisis."And if we play our cards right, we can get you non-comic readers out there to consider giving comics a try.
