Marvel's Eleven

My eyes almost bulged out of their sockets when I read this: 11 of its titles sold out this month! 11! That's a rarity for any company. The titles are:

Captain America #25 (not surprising, given what happened in it; I won't spoil for those who haven't read it)
Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born #1 (although he's not scripting it himself, Steven King is involved with the comic)

Mighty Avengers #1 (again, not surprising, given how well New Avengers #1 sold when it came out. Not to mention that Brian Bendis is a big name in comics nowadays)

New Avengers Illuminati: Secret History (Bendis co-wrote this, and New Avengers and the Illuminati are big players at Marvel right now)

Marvel Zombies/Army of Darkness #1 (I think AoD's got a solid fanbase and the first Marvel Zombies mini-series was a surprise hit, so there you go)

Civil War: The Initiative (the biggest book, in terms of "importance," to come out of Marvel's latest crossover event, Civil War)

Civil War: The Confession (almost as big)

Iron Man #15 (no clue what happened in this one, but good for Iron Man)

Sensation Spider-Man #35 (one of the first issues in the much-hyped "Back in Black" Spider-Man event)

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #17 (ditto; "Back in Black," by the way, refers to Spider-Man putting his black costume from the 80s back on, presumably due to some dark recent events in his life)

Spider-Man Family #1 (hurray! This is the one I'm most surprised and excited about. For those who don't know, this is the first issue of a bi-monthly Spider-Man anthology comic, featuring both brand new Spidey stories and reprints. The first alone has four stories, and for $4.99, that's not a bad deal).

More info on the comics (including when the reprints come out) is in the link below. You may want to skip the first three paragraphs though, as they spoil the major event in Cap #25.

So for anyone reading this: these sellouts excite you? Not really? And do any titles catch your eye?
